What are you running for audio (headset/speakers)?

Earlier, we were talking about the audio people are running, and thought it might be a good idea to throw out what we're using, for those in the market for some new gear. So, I'll get the ball rolling....

I'm running the CoolerMaster Storm Sirus headset. True 5.1 surround (4 drivers per side). Not super comfortable (for MY head), but the sound is incredible.

Comes with a "puck" that connects USB, and allows for tweaking the separate channels (front, center, rear, bass). Also has a set of cables you can use in lieu of the puck, to connect to a sound card, if you prefer. I have a pretty good dedicated sound card (Creative Fatal1ty X-fi Titanium Pro, and think the puck provides sound on par with it. Included software provides full customization for the sound.

Reviews are 4/5 on both Newegg and Amazon, which is where I'd put them, subtracting 1 for the comfort thing (again, just my head).

Typically goes for ~$100, but I think I got it for a bit less.

I use the Plantronics Gamecom 780
I like them a lot, super comfy ear foam things. They are USB.
Amazon says 80 bucks, but I bet I got them on sale.

I really like the 3d sound- like footsteps creepin' behind me in game.

My stereo is a Logitech Z623 2.1 system, THX certified. Great sound, though the bass is better heard outside my room than inside. It has a great sub.

When I use headphones, I like my Sony MDR-V100 from the 90s. Still work great, good sound. 10ft cord.

Ever since my mic died, I've just used my Microsoft Lifecam's mic.

I have gone through several decent sets in the last few years. My newest and I think best quality one so far is SENNHEISER PC333D Headset. It is buy far the clearest and best voice capture unit I have ever used. Newegg.com has it on for 178.95 USD I purchased mine in Canada on sale last summer for 179.00 CDN reg price 249.00 at the time.

2 Dixie cups connected with string. It's high quality blue hand woven string. I put the cups on my ears and put the string into the speaker jack. Dixie cups were on sale, so I definitely saved some money, which I will use to buy the new PC I've been talking about for...well, it's been awhile.

To communicate I use a number of hand signals. Well, mainly 1 hand signal goes a long with a slam on the desk with the other hand. This was free. However, I did have to buy a bandaid to fix it up once and needed a new keyboard because I broke one (user error).

For gaming, I'm using the Razer Tiamat 7.1 true surround headphones with an ASUS sound card. The headset has 5 drivers per ear cup, and separate volume controls for the Left, Right, Center and Rear channels, as well a separate control for the bass, which is driven by the fifth (and largest) driver. Comfortable, and the surround sound is fantastic. I've tried sets from Logitech, Corsair, and others that reproduce simulated surround, but these really pinpoint where the sounds come from accurately. My only gripe is the microphone... it sucks. I have a separate logitech USB boom mic for that.
