I believe while I was in the 5th Hypernia was te provider and it was good then.
Keep in mind Wolf Servers are owned and managed by (AoW Art of War), excellent & fast tech support, slightly pricey, but you truley get what you pay for in this business.

Here's the issue I see. thsoe guys can ask any cost they want, BUT....., The issue does not lye in the ability for them to provide a box capable of running that big if a sever, but how fast a connection we have to it. I want to know if we can get a break down of each bandwidth pipe before we make a final decision. if they don't have a big enough pipe, it's a bad idea to use them. I can put up a BF3 server that's a dual quad core and 8GB of ram, but my ISP is not going to give us good pings at all. So agian it comes down to pipe to the interent.

thing si know about listed above.
Eur will be horrible pings for us here in the states. probebly the lowet ping we will get is 110 if lucky on a perfect day. (average each of us. some may get better but most will not). Now if the service offers a serer in each country, THAT would be something to look at and especially if they have a big interent pipe like a O.C.-3. If you would liek some assistance in digging into who ahs the fattest pipe for us let me know. I deal with technicial network details for a living so I don't mind assisting.

I'll go through the list and post my details on the ability of support we will get from each.

MyInterentServices = no phone or live support. create support ticket. (crappy way to get support in my opinion taks 1-2 days for respons typically from these types of support)

NFO Servers= email or IRC style support. OK but still can take a while if we have an issue.

Hypernia = phone, email or forums support. claimn 24/7 (will help test to see if we do get a live person if you want) if true, good support!

Branzone = no phone or live support. create support ticket. (crappy way to get support in my opinion taks 1-2 days for respons typically from these types of support)

AOWC = phone, email or forums support. claimn 24/7 (will help test to see if we do get a live person if you want) if true, good support

Gameservers = no phone or live support. create support ticket. (crappy way to get support in my opinion taks 1-2 days for respons typically from these types of support)

Multiplay = phone, email or forums support. claimn 24/7 (will help test to see if we do get a live person if you want) if true, good support

i3d = phone, email or forums support. claimn 24/7 (will help test to see if we do get a live person if you want) if true, good support

ok so in short, the bold ones are the best support models availalbe. So in my books, i say we start tehre and then have them give us test machines to ping from around the workd to see the typs of pings we will get to the boxes. during the ping, I can load the packets to be anywhere form 1mb in size to 5mb in size to test connection.

any updates yet?
i as thinking, i think we should have "only" 2 servers to see how things go (or less). 1 with a large group and 1 with a smaller team group that is more specialized with only certain type of maps.
What do ya'll think?
